POINT to see open opportunites
Volunteers have a variety of opportunities to serve, with options for all ages, group & individuals, and different commitment levels.
You can contact us at 816-702-6801 if you'd like to take a tour and visit with someone about serving opportunities.
Volunteers of all ages can come help serve by assisting guests, filling orders, clean-up, and interaction with guests.
In between sessions the Food Pantry has new shipments of food unloaded and is restocked. Check out SignUp Genius for dates and times.
Contact the Program Manager with questions:
Volunteers help guests "shop" for necessary clothing from our donated clothing supplies.
Other opportunites for volunteers that are not guest facing include sorting donations, hanging, folding, & organizing "the shop".
All ages are welcome to help.

Love cooking? The Guesthouse provides a hot meal every session that we are open. That's 4 lunches for our guests a week! Our volunteers help our Kitchen Manager preparing food for our friends! If cooking isn't quite your thing but you love the hospitality of a warm home, you could be a volunteer helper in the Guesthouse. Our volunteers help clean, check-in guests, and make sure we show our guests the best experience we can while they are with us.
